A pond-less waterfall doesn't have the pond at the base. Therefore, maintenance of the pond is not an issue, less water is used to sustain the feature and a waterfall can fit into a smaller space. The pump system is hidden below the base of the falls.

Water Features

Water features have been a popular component of the garden for thousands of years. The constant motion (or the tranquil stillness), the sound and the visual interest of pools, koi ponds, falls, cascades and fountains have become a integral part of the modern landscape. We enjoy the creative and challenging adventure that each opportunity presents us with.

GOING POND-LESS

During our 20 years in the Atlanta landscape market, we have provided our clients with many different types of water experiences. While waterfalls that cascade into ponds have become the most common style of water feature, pond-less waterfalls are increasing in popularity. Pond-less features don't require the large area that a receiving pond does. Pond-less waterfalls don't require the maintenance that traditional ponds do.

WATER PURIFICATION

The RainHarvest Company is constantly striving to make our landscape and garden creations more sustainable. Mimicking the natural process of water purification through aeration and the biodegradation on pollutants, we will incorporate a water feature, such as a waterfall and pond, into the landscape master plan as one step in the gray water filtration and purification process. This is exciting because the water feature will receive and endless supply of free water from the customer as it is cleaned to be used in the irrigation system. The water feature fulfills the normal aesthetic contribution to the garden yet it is also a vital link in the sustainability of the entire environment surrounding you home or business.

The cascading waterfalls that we create to purify the gray water so that it can be used in the Micro-Irrigation System for watering ornamentals. This is a sustainable feature as well as adding unparalleled beauty to the landscape!

SOLAR PUMPS

Consistent with our efforts to bring sustainability to the landscape, our water features include solar pumps. Traditional electric pumps are available for situations in which solar is not the appropriate choice.

Ponds will always have a special place in the garden as a place for raising fish and ornamental plants as well as simply being quiet and enjoying the stillness of the water. We have used ponds as the reservoir for rain water collection. The water is then cycled through the falls for filtering prior to being pumped into the irrigation system.
The RainHarvest Company will create water feature that appear to be natural and in place before your home or business was ever built!
Scale is not a problem for us, only an exciting challenge!
